Great Product and Convenient As Well
These four-packs of vegetable broth are a great product to use for making soups or to add extra flavor when making polenta risotto long-grain rice or quinoa. Each box contains 8 ounces of broth (one cup) so each four-pack contains the same total amount as one 32-ounce box of broth. Normally these four-packs are more expensive than one 32-ounce box in supermarkets but Amazon.com has a pretty good price on them -- $3.11 per four-pack (per quart). They are very convenient to use as well because you never have to freeze or store unused broth in the fridge as is often the case with 32-ounce broth boxes. Since each box has one cup of broth you don't need to measure and you only use as much as you need.

Great for the office!
Spicy (but not too spicy) and filling these soup cups are a great addition to my work lunches. I just leave mine at the office but if you do not have your own personal space just keep them in your trunk!

Low low fat tasty and filling
I love split pea soup but I don't make it much any more. This is so quick and I can dress it up in seconds with my favorite curry powder AND the price is right!

Bland but filling
Having tried & adored most of this brand's soup cups I eagerly grabbed a cup of their lentil & couscous soup. Thirty minutes later I was pretty underwhelmed by the experience.
The soup may have less sodium but it is incredibly bland tasting. It doesn't need salt but a pinch of extra seasoning would have helped the taste. This may be great for some but for me it would deter me from purchasing more of this product unless I were to get some extra seasoning to dump in it.
The best part of the soup is that it is incredibly filling- even more so than some of McDougall's other products. It's just that I'd rather have something that tastes good rather than something that is filling. If you don't mind bland food or can season it to perfection get this product. If you are like me & just don't have the time to season food at work you may want to skip this & give their other products a try.
*Oh and I recommend letting this sit for 8 minutes rather than 5. It made the lentils & couscous much more tender!

Filling and delicious...
I've tried several of the Nile Spice soups and this one just like the other ones is a hearty filling and delicious soup.
It makes a great fast lunch and has a simple list of ingredients.
Highly recommended!

Great product but always arrives damaged from Amazon!
These are great little cups of soup to throw in your bag for work and have for lunch. However everytime I have ordered from Amazon one has become damaged during transit and spilled all over the rest during shipment. I contacted Customer Service and they sent me another set but the same thing happened! Should probably just wait for them to go on sale at the grocery store!

The product is stupendous the price... ain't
All of the Soup At Hand products are pretty good except for the Velvety Potato. "No sir I just don't like it." Another reviewer commented that the Classic Tomato is a little salty and I have to agree. And I love salt! But the good news is that Campbell's does have the same Classic Tomato variety in a 25% less salt version... that seems to be out of stock.
Here in Western NY you can find it in the grocery stores for around $1.59/ea or on sale for a little less. Unfortunately the Campbell's name draws a higher price even though the product is excellent and extremely handy.

Great to keep at work
I keep these soup cups in my desk at work. They're really easy to make with the hot water from the water cooler. Be careful because the cup becomes too hot to hold sometimes.
This is my favorite flavor from this brand line though it smells funny to coworkers who aren't used to miso! I think it tastes great and makes a good snack or goes great with a sandwich or salad to be a lunch. The noodles are a great addition--regular miso soup is just too watery to be filling.
The seasoning comes in a packet so you can use less and get just as flavorful a meal but have less salt in your diet.
Note the nutrition info link at Amazon is based on half the package. I can't imagine anyone saving the rest for later and 180 calories for the whole thing isn't exactly too much food! The cups I have purchased locally list it as one 180-cal serving so perhaps packaging has changed. Meanwhile I've had some cups seep a bit while eating them so it's not a container that's going to hold your soup longer than your mealtime. Put a napkin under the cup just in case.
I give it five stars for flavor and convenience but only four total because of the details/execution (leaks hot cup half portion nutrition labeling). It also seems a little pricey at two+ bucks each in my local grocery but it's much better than traditional Ramen.

Having just eaten this for dinner I have advice and raves
First of all don't be put off by the price. If you've kept track of grocery store receipts lately or the sharp increase in basic foods over the last year you may see how this product could save you time gas and MONEY.
At the time of this writing it cost about $16.88 for four packages of this mix. EACH package easily serves 8-16 people with soup left over.
While the instructions note to add 4 cups of water or a water and broth combo we quickly discovered we had to double or even triple the liquid added. No problem there because we had more soup!
If you don't have fresh veggies or spices around this will suffice as is and it is thick and satisfying. If you garden you'll improve the taste by adding fresh chopped parsley garlic and whatever veggies you want. A can of tomatoes (or fresh chopped ones) does no harm. This is a mix you can play with add ingredients and spices.
IMPORTANT: this is not a salted mix. It is full of split peas barley lentils whole wheat pasta dehydrated spinach tomato onion etc. If you don't use salt consider adding a salt substitute. I also added basil. It was delightful quick and is now a pantry staple.
